Frequently Asked Questions
We know starting something new can bring up a lot of questions — and we’re here to make things clear. Below are some of the most common questions we get about our Psychiatric Medication Management services.
Do I need a diagnosis first?
No. We evaluate your needs during your initial consultation and guide you from there.
Is this covered by insurance?
Yes, we are in-network with many insurance plans. We recommend calling your insurance provider directly to confirm your specific coverage for mental health services.
Who will I see for my medication refills and appointments?
You’ll be seen by a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is also a doctorally prepared, dual-licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). With advanced training and extensive experience in both mental health and primary care, your provider offers a comprehensive, personalized approach to your treatment and medication management.
Who do I call if I need a refill or have a medical question?
If you have a question about your medication or need a refill, please call our office. Our nurse is here to support you – ready to answer questions, assist with refills, and help guide your care. For after-hours information, ask your provider about our specific availability and procedures.
What type of conditions do you treat?
Anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and more.
